To sneakerheads, there's nothing in the world more exciting or beautiful than a rare pair of sneakers. Many sneakerheads own literally hundreds of pairs of shoes, sometimes obsessing over one brand or series, other times moving unpredictably through the entire spectrum of athletic wear. Boston's Sneaker Museum is celebrating a full year of business by presenting Style Wars, the 1983 documentary on hip-hop culture. It's a fascinating look at the development of a culture while it was happening, with all the graffiti, rap, and of course, more than a few pristine pairs of Jordans.
